Dr. Tom Carr grew up in Canyon, Texas.
He attended West Texas State University beginning in 1978, majored in chemistry, and graduated
with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1982. He was accepted into the University of Texas Dental
Branch in Houston that same year and received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from there
in 1986.
In addition to providing compassionate general dentistry to patients 15 and over, Dr. Carr
specializes in complex full-mouth surgery and reconstruction in conjunction with Panhandle
Dental's in-house prosthetics lab.

Jeff Alexander, Certified Dental Technician, was born in Liberal, Kansas and grew up in Plains, Kansas. He graduated from Southwestern
Heights High School in 1993 and then attended Dodge City Community college for one year.
From there, he transferred to West Texas A&M University, majored in environmental science,
and worked part-time in a dental lab in Amarillo.
Earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 1998,
Jeff then enrolled in the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where he
graduated at the top of his class, receiving his Certified Dental Technician status in Complete
Dentures in 2000.
Jeff returned to Amarillo where he worked in an in-house dental lab until he and Dr. Carr opened
Panhandle Dental in the spring of 2004. He now builds dental prosthetics in Panhandle Dental's
in-house dental lab.

Christina Perdue, Registered Dental Hygienist, was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas where she
graduated from Tascosa High School. While a student in the Dental Hygiene Program at Amarillo
College, Christina received the school's Clinical Excellence Award and was also recognized by the
Wyatt Indigent Healthcare Program of Northwest Texas Hospital for Outstanding Performance in
Promoting Dental Healtcare.
She received an Assoicate's Degree in Applied Science from Amarillo College in 2005, and received
her Regisered Dental Hygienist License as well as Nitros Oxide Administration Certification from
the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners that same year.
Christina has been Panhandle Dental's only hygienist on staff since her employment there which
began in 2005.
